On Saturday the 11-th of June in Kratovo, the Regional Roma Educational Youth Association (RROMA) organized the Staying Alive 2011 festival as part of the awareness campaign "Aids doesn't know about Discrimination ... Protect yourself!".
The youth created and participated in a Flash mob, a frozen town installation, organized a fashion show with young children and the RROMA girls showed a bit of the multicultural background of Macedonia and sending out the message "Aids does not know about Discrimination ... Protect yourself!", no matter the culture or ethnicity.
Also, the youth performed a little skit for the audience and the young band Mambo Brass Kocani made every one dancing. Guest on this event was the Mayor of Kratovo, mr. Mite Andonovski, who also supported this event.
After the program, the audience had a chance to enjoy in the performances of the local band "D'Fender's", Dj Fero from Berovo (a member of RROMA) and the fantastic Dj Meshko from Kriva Palanka, who put on an excellent show.
The reactions of this event were more than positive and it was covered by media.
